Storage Problem

I'm cleaning up and organizing my room and I'm struggling with what to do with these big chart boxes.  I just don't know what to do with them.  What do you do with your posters???

  1. Struggling with where to store it? Right now mine is in the garage but it is falling apart. I am now transitioning over to some vinyl poster organizers (found at Office Depot with the teacher items). Our school is very strict with the amount of paper on the walls etc so I have gotten away from using a lot of the cute bulletin board sets.

  2. I have the exact same box (reinforced with various packing & masking tape on the bottom) I used to keep mine in the closet (shared by 6 other teachers) but, now I'm going to copy by best teacher friend & stick it behind a bookshelf- the shelf will be out from the wall 6inches or so, but I'll be able to pull it out from the side when I want to access the posters.

  3. good idea- we do that with filing cabinets so we don't have to worry about bookshelves tipping.

  4. I used to have several of these boxes but they didn't last long. I have since then switched to clear vinal bags. I have 3 and I love them. I am always surprised at how much fits in them. The only drawback is that they get heavy but that is because I have so much in them.

  5. I have one of these boxes as well. I took 2 pieces of poster board and stapled them together on three sides to make an envelope. I made several envelopes and labeled them things like fall, Christmas, spring, etc. I keep bulletin board decorations, signs, etc in the envelopes. I list specific events like Dr. Seuss or 100th day of School on the spring envelope. It helps corral those big items that don't fit in your filing cabinet. It works for me!
