My New Zazzle Binder

I am so excited I just designed my own personal binder that I'm going to use for my Daily 5 Assessments.  I saw this last year but never got around to making one.  It was really easy.   I can't wait for it to come.  The Sisters from Daily 5 have worked out with Zazzle to give us teachers a discount.    The promo code is TEACHERSROCK.  It's 40% off!  Click Here to go to Zazzle.  Basically that takes care of the shipping cost.  So it came to $19.32.  More than I would normally pay for a binder but I'm looking forward to it sticking out around all the other binders so I always know where it is.

  1. Your design is adorable. I've been working on mine for days. I just have too many ideas and I can't decide which one I like best.

  3. I have to say, I was blog stalking and stumbled upon your blog and the first thing that caught my eye was DAILY 5! Woohoo! I taught first grade for 3 years and used "the sisters" as a core foundation of my teaching strategies. I was moved to kinder and and eager to try Daily 5 there. Love your binder and can't wait to read blogs to come!

  5. I love your binder......I have been working on that site, but it is driving me crazy! How did you figure out how to put 2 different backgrounds on there? I am just going to give up on it-let me know if you found a helpful tutorial. I look on the site, but it didn't help me! LOL, maybe I am just too old!

  6. Kelly - I really only have one background. When I made the binder you are looking at the binder being open flat. I put the square background half on the front and half on the back of the binder. The white is just the binder color. I didn't use a tutorial. I just played around. I hope this helps. Sorry you're struggling. Good luck!
