Just finished reading Hey, Good Looking by Fern Michaels. It's an older book, 2006. I got it from a second hand bookstore. You can't beat 50¢ ! It was a cute story! I flew through it! I know we don't have a lot of time to read with our busy lives but I try to fit it in. It sure relaxes me!
We set up an adult book section in our teacher's lounge where we can put books we are done with and then we can take new ones. It's been a nice set up!
Do you have a good book suggestion? With summer coming I'll read even more!
Happy Reading!

Anything by James Patterson. They are murder mysteries but very quick reads! I also just finished "Saving CeeCee Honeycutt" (excellent book) and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (sad but also excellent). I have enjoyed books by Jodi Picoult and Kristin Hannah. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteLove all Nicholas Sparks books. A very good book that I ended up recommending to several people last summer and all really enjoyed was Look Again by Lisa Scottoline. Its a mystery/suspense, really good.
ReplyDeleteI love love your blog! Looking forward to following!!!
ReplyDeleteI just picked up Water for Elephants. I can't wait to relax and read it!!
ReplyDeleteTry The Book of Bright Ideas by Sandra Kring. It is a wonderful read. (she has 3 or 4 other titles too.) I also really enjoyed The Forgotten Garden and the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. All perfect for summer reading!
ReplyDeleteWater for Elephants is good... I just finished Sarah's Key. It is set in WWII Paris. A very moving and touching book. I personally have a interest in WWII and the stories of the people who were persecuted. Although not a true story, it is based on true events. A great book, you won't want to put it down. Also, anything by Jodi Picoult. I just LOVE her! Her book "House Rules" is about a boy with Aspergers - as a Sped Teacher it truly touched my heart.
